In our modern world, we live imprisoned by the ego and the rational mind, a place void of passion, desire, longing, and romance. This disconnect breeds confusion, anxiety, and fear. It's only by way of an open heart that we may truly know love.

This is a deep and complicated film about transcendent love – and one that is worth watching again and again. This film takes place at a time when earth is failing and scientists are exploring other planets in the universe to escape to in order to save the human family.
Difficult choices have to be made and what saves humanity in the end is the heart's guidance system. Settle in for a galatical ride with this one! And note, it's long, but worth every minute.
P.S. Pay particular close attention to the scene where Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey's characters are at odds as to which planet to choose for their last ditch effort to save everyone left on earth. This is where Dr. Brand (Anne Hathaway) reveals the truth of our 6th sense!
