In the before times, when work felt dependable and unshakeable, we moved through our day in a manner that felt almost effortless. Ahhh, how we might long for those times. But, I ask you . . .

When things are relatively easy, where is the drive to contemplate the connection between work and meaning?

Where is the push to cultivate a practice of inner reflection and an anchoring to gratittude?

Where is the glow of compassion that's born out of life's principled impermanance?

It's with sudden shifts in work that we're broken open. Our hearts crack and the light filters in. This is the way of the sage seeker. This is your way.

Gentle Hero, all is in service to love.

Your search for work is your teacher drawing you ever closer to that center point where ego and soul commune in heart. This is where life harmonizes.

I invite you today to journey a little closer. Take a moment to gaze upon your vital spark – that part of you that flickers in the universal heart.

Summary:

While the heart fosters feelings and love, the heart within the heart is also the seat of imagination and the place of wisdom. What was known as the “eye of the heart” sees with a kind of vision that opens to revelations about ourselves and the world. Yet, for the heart to open and the spirit of change to enter us, we must let go of our received ideas and restrictive attitudes.

LinkedIn just added a cool new feature to the Jobs tab! You can now direct LinkedIn to search for what you seek in any way that's true for you. For example, you can say this . . .

I'm looking for a job that pays at least $100K a year, is hybrid or remote out of San Diego and involves recruiting or career development activities or community building. LinkedIn will in turn produce a fairly juicy return AND you can save it as a job alert. 🎉
