Scripps Health is seeking a Crucial Care Nurse Manager for their downtown San Diego location. As a critical-care nurse manager at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego, you’ll lead a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment assuring nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety. You will be responsible for the daily operations of assigned nursing unit, including creating and managing staffing plans and ensuring appropriate equipment and resources are available to staff to do their job.

This Full Time Day Shift Manager position is located in Hillcrest, San Diego.

At least five years adult ICU RN clinical experience, two of which in a leadership role
Excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through
Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care
Graduate of an accredited program
Current CA State RN license
American Heart Association BLS certification
American Heart Association ACLS certification
At least three years of ICU RN experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital
Bachelor/Masters Degree in Nursing
Epic working experience
